Certified Authentic Charlie Weis, a 1978 University of Notre Dame graduate and owner of four Super Bowl champion rings as products of a stellar 15-season career as a National Football League assistant, was named the 28th head football coach of the Fighting Irish in 2004. Weis became the first Notre Dame graduate to serve as the Irish football coach on a full-fledged basis since Joe Kuharich (a '38 Notre Dame graduate who coached at Notre Dame from 1959 through '62). Along the way, Weis has displayed the ability to develop successful offensive players. He helped advance the careers of New York Jets' running back Curtis Martin, Jets' wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, Patriots' tight end Ben Coates and, most recently, Patriots' two-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Tom Brady. Charlie Weis has hand signed this commemorative 2006 Notre Dame Wheaties cereal box. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. This document is then secured within the Steiner Sports main offices. Once the hand-signed collectible has passed the steps listed above, a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is created for the collectible. The collectible is then sealed and stored within our main office and is not handled until it is delivered to a sports collectible enthusiast. COA FEATURES Steiner Sports provides a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) that is the size of a credit card and made of durable plastic. It carries text that reads, "This certificate is your assurance that the enclosed item of sports memorabilia has been personally signed by the state sports celebrity/celebrities. The authenticity of the signature(s) is unconditionally guaranteed by Steiner Sports Memorabilia, Inc." It also bears the Steiner logo, a facsimile signature of Steiner Sports President Brandon Steiner, and on the reverse includes a hologram specific to the product as well as a description of the item and a corresponding bar code. Note, some products may instead come with a card-stock paper version of the Steiner Sports COA.
