September 25, 2007 - Ben visits Carnegie Library
|
Ben Roethlisberger teamed up with the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to promote literacy.
The Steelers quarterback made a surprise visit to the library's main branch in Oakland.
Roethlisberger shared one of his favorite books, “The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs” with the children.
Big Ben said being able to read is an opportunity every child deserves.
“If you impact one kid's life you made a difference. You impacted one more kid than you did yesterday,” said Roethlisberger.
While at the library, Roethlisberger applied for his first Pittsburgh library card.
