September 1, 2013 - Perfect Day at PNC358 viewsMatt “Rabbi” Rabinowitz and his family took a break from the summer heat of Fort Lauderdale, Florida to visit Pittsburgh over the Labor Day weekend to take in the FSU vs Pitt game.
While they were visiting, they decided to take in a Pirates game, and look who they ran into!
“Nicest man I ever met,” said Matt. “He’s the man! Great guy and an even better QB!”
What did he think of Pittsburgh? “I really enjoyed the city, great atmosphere!”
He enjoyed the FSU vs Pitt game too, his Seminoles beat the Panthers 41-13 on Monday, September 2nd. You could say that Matt experienced a perfect sports weekend in the Da Burgh.
*Thank you to both Matt and his sister, Melissa!

October 2, 2020 - It's another Fan Friday130 viewsAnd another masterpiece from our friend and artist Matt Sharpe to finish off our post in style!
Matt Sharpe @daringsharpe
It’s good to have Ben back. This league is at its best when players like @_BigBen7 are out competing each week.
Just as its been at its best when other @steelers legends were out writing history on the field, week in and week out, across decades past. 😤⚫️🟡 #Steelers

The names of the guys are Niall, Max, Sascha, Matthew & Thomas. I don't know the names of the other guys that were sitting with us, but they were Steeler fans as well, just didn't know them!
Best regards,

August 4, 2011 - Training Camp1907 viewsLexi meets Ben.
"I was trying to get Pouncey's autograph when I saw Ben walking over. I walked over closer to where Ben was walking to and I got a spot right in front. I was patiently waiting my turn and then I felt this huge swarm of people behind me pushing me into the little fence. It felt like it was going to rip. The staff guy kept saying "stop pushing, he will get to you." Ben was right in front of me and I said 'Hi Ben, can I please get a picture with you?'
'He said, 'Sure, but let's take it as I sign things here. Just let me know when you're ready.' While he signed some more, I was trying to find someone to take our picture since my sister was behind the huge crowd and finally this nice guy behind me said he'd take it. Ben came back over and we took the picture. I then asked him if he could sign my jersey when he got a chance. He came over and signed the sleeve of my jersey really slowly lol. I said 'thank you so much!' and he looked right at me and smiled and said, 'You ARE welcome.' I can't believe I finally got to meet him. He was so sweet and probably signed for about 20 minutes and then went over and took pictures with all of these kids that were on the field."
*Thank you Lexi!
