Ben's March 2, 2011 Birthday Winner1378 viewsMr. Ed Coombs of Cicero, New York was the 29th emailer for Ben's own March 2nd birthday contest. He won the autographed jersey, but gave it to 9-year old Michael Mason from Fayetteville NY - the son of a friend and a HUGE Steelers/Big Ben fan! Needless to say, Michael couldn't wait to try it on!
Thank you to Mr. Coombs for sending the photo!

February 3, 2011 - Press Conference990 views“I think you always strive to get better and perform the way and the ability you want to. You either improve or deteriorate, and I never want to go backwards. I’m always trying to get better. I figure that as you become more of a veteran in this league, and you play more games, things start to slow down and get more comfortable. I think it’s kind of natural that you would start to play better football as you keep going.†-- On whether he feels that he is at the "top of his game".

546 viewsPatrick’s story about the loss of his young son was featured on the site on February 27, 2013.
“We went to St. Vincent three days…Friday for the night practice where Kathleen got lots of autographs; On Monday (8/5), I got Ben’s autograph on my son’s jersey. I told him it was my son’s favorite jersey and that he had passed away December 30th and had been featured on his site. He looked at me and said, ‘I am sorry. (Pause) I am really very sorry!’. It was very nice for him to acknowledge it all in the pandemonium that was surrounding him at the time.
On Wednesday (8/7), we went back with one of the kids’ ski instructors and three of their ski buddies. Kathleen and two of the kids got Ben’s autograph. Kathleen was beaming. I was amazed at how gracious Ben was… It had been a long practice and both his right elbow and left knee were heavily iced and he moved gingerly. In spite of this, he signed hundreds of autographs… It was a pretty impressive display.
