Ben in Switzerland, 20061548 viewsHi Erin,
I'm Remo from Switzerland and I'm a big Football fan.
Well American Football is not that popular in Switzerland like Soccer or Ice hockey. But anyway for me it's a great sport and I like to watch them every Sunday. Like you know Big Ben has his roots in Switzerland . During his visit after winning the Super Bowl in 2006, I was lucky to met Ben at 'Lauperswil' and was able to talk to him and his father. He is a really nice guy and who knows, maybe one day he will come back to Switzerland or I will visit a game in Pittsburgh. Sorry my English isn’t that good but I hope you can use some of the pictures for your great website.
Greetings from Switzerland,
Remo

August 21st - Pre-season @ Giants2394 views"I would have gone the whole game if they'd let me," Roethlisberger said after completing 6 of 8 throws for 76 yards with a sack and an interception. "From the standpoint of getting a feel for the field and the speed of it [again], it went good."
Even so, Roethlisberger admitted to a few knots in his stomach in warmups and on the Steelers' first series.

October 24, 2010 - Steelers vs. Dolphins794 views“I thought he broke my arm, he hit me so hard. My arm kind of went numb. I saw the ball sitting right in front of me. One of their guys jumped on it, and it squirted between them, so I was able to grab it under the pile.
“I’m not denying he wasn’t holding onto it. How do you tell who recovered the ball?
“Just a bizarre kind of play. You hate to win it that way, but you’ll take a win." -- Ben on the controversial touchdown/fumble call, from his post-game presser.
Final score: Steelers 23, Dolphins 22.

February 18, 2022 - Something #DIFFERENT to start off a winter weekend184 views“I will NEVER forget last night in Pittsburgh! I was joined on stage at our show by my buddy #BigBen Roethlisberger and we closed out the Different shirt campaign with an absolute bang. All season long Ben and I have been partnering with @lightoflife Rescue Mission to provide meals for the homeless citizens of Pittsburgh, selling special edition Black & Yellow Steelers shirts and providing 2 meals on each sale. Last night, with 500 shirts left we challenged the INCREDIBLE crowd in @ppgpaintsarena to get us over the 10,000 meal range and they SHOWED UP!
Big thanks to Ben, his wife, Ashley, and their family for partnering with my family to make an impact on the city by helping an amazing ministry help so many others! #herewego†— Micah.
