February, 2015 - Humane Society Golf Outing595 viewsLeft to Right: Russ Wilson, Kevin Piccola, John Buljat, and me, Dave Hajel. This was the annual fundraiser for the Humane Society of Somerset County held at Arnold Palmer's Indian Lake Private Course outside of Somerset Pa.
We are super die-hard Steeler and Ben fans of course! Ben owes no apologies!!! He is the ultimate warrior and we would never trade him for any other QB! We suffered through the long drought in the 80's and 90's...we appreciate him and all he has done, does, and will continue to do!!! It all changed when #7 was drafted...We consider him The Chosen One! Love where this team is headed and love the fact he is at the helm!
The shelter really appreciates the support Ben gives to Police Canine Units! And we love the fact he is an avid golfer...I'm sure we could find a team that is looking for a fourth in this summer's tournament if he is available...If his contract is not done by then I will sponsor him! Lol!

December, 2017 - Regios de Acero in Pittsburgh594 views
Our friend, Roger Saucedo fills us in on their big weekend:
And here we go again! Regios de Acero were on their way to Pittsburgh last week! This was our trip to celebrate the club’s 15th anniversary. On Thursday morning, December 7th at 7:00 a.m. 90 fans loaded onto 2 buses to see 1 team: the Pittsburgh Steelers. We expected a 40-hour trip but that did not matter, we had an appointment at Heinz field on Sunday night to support Big Ben Roethlisberger and the team vs. Ravens.
We arrived at the City of Steel on Friday evening, tired but happy.
On Saturday, we toured the city: first the Strip District and then on to Heinz field area for an interview with Mike Clark (anchor news at WTAE). By 5 p.m. we had an important appointment too: an event at the stadium – the Steelers offered a Welcome Party to Mexican and Latin American fans. It was a great party! Roger Saucedo and Jesus Vera, administrators of Regios de Acero, broadcast on facebooklive some moments of the event for his club members in Mexico and all Mexican Steeler Nation too.
Thanks Killer B’s (Ben, Bell, Brown, Boswell), thanks to all the team and thanks to the city of Pittsburgh because they always make us feel like home. See you next year for another traditional tour of Regios de Acero, the most iconic Steelers fan club in Mexico. Here we go! — Roger Saucedo and the members of Regios De Acero.
**Regios de Acero have been making this trip for the last few years: December 2014, December 2015, and November 2016. That is dedication. That is #SteelersMexico!

584 views“Few cities support the Steelers like they do in Charleston, SC. The 6th Annual Steeler Cruise was held this past weekend and the Black and Gold fans were out in full force. This annual event benefits the Carolina Children’s Charity and sells out every year.†— Ron Manz.

Thank you Ben!581 viewsYou mean a lot for Anna Sophie!! You sent her an autographed photo which we appreciate with all our hearts! God bless you!
My lovely daughter underwent a second bone marrow transplant on March 21, because of the Leukemia diagnosis. We are so blessed that everything came on Divine time from Our Lord.
Anna Sophie is doing great. Today she has been declared Grafted, which means that She's been cured.
Today that we received the count on her Neutrophiles, and it was amazing, Immaculate!!
Since the diagnose, on Nov 7 in 2012, I've been writing a diary, always inspired, somehow by the spirit of the Steelers team. Anna Sophie is always keeping his Ben's Autograph, even at the hospital (she is still in the hospital due to post-transplant care). That is something that I will always appreciate. -- Esteban Manuel González Cárdenas
